Salperton IV Places Stratis Order
Salperton IV has placed an order for a set of Stratis sails to complement its new Southern Spars rig. The 45m Dubois design, launched by Fitzroy Yachts in 2009, is a regular entrant at most of the superyacht regattas and bucket events around the world and the owner, a very experienced and competitive yachtsman, has a keen desire to win.
The cruising inventory of carbon/twaron Stratis sails will be complemented by a film/film racing jib with inflatable battens as well as an A2 gennaker.
The decision to choose Doyle Stratis sails was not undertaken lightly with much deliberation put into the matter. In the end recent successes at regattas and the technical and practical expertise of the Doyle team swayed the choice.
